FREQUENTLY ASKED
Is 70 by 40 inches actually big enough to cover an average adult fully?
Yes. 70 inches covers head to foot for most adults. The 40-inch width is generous enough to wrap around your shoulders and still tuck in. The foot pockets at the bottom keep it from sliding down during a long flight.
Do the foot pockets get in the way if I just want to use it as a regular blanket?
Not really. They sit at the bottom edge and do not change how the blanket drapes. If you are sitting upright just let the bottom hang loose. They only come into play when you actively slide your feet in. Regular blanket or wearable blanket, you choose per flight.
How small does it pack down? Will it fit in a personal item?
It folds into its own attached zippered pouch. Compressed it is pillow-sized and fits in a carry-on or large personal item without taking up a full compartment. Not as compact as an ultralight hiking blanket but far smaller than anything you would normally check.
Is the fabric soft against bare skin or does it feel scratchy?
The soft polyester blend is designed for extended contact. Most travelers find it comfortable against bare arms and legs on long-haul flights. It does not have the scratchy feel of a standard fleece. Worth noting it is polyester rather than cotton if you are sensitive to synthetic fabrics.
Can it double as a travel pillow?
The storage pouch it folds into is pillow-shaped and stuffed firm enough to use as a lumbar or neck pillow when you are not using the blanket. Not memory foam, but noticeably better than nothing on a long flight.
What is the insulated food pocket?
A built-in insulated pocket on the blanket itself, positioned at a reachable spot when wearing it. Keeps snacks at a stable temperature so you are not digging through your bag mid-flight. Small enough not to add bulk, large enough for snacks or a small item.
