Does this fit a standard US passport, including the cover?

Yes. It fits every standard US passport and most international passports too. The main compartment is built for passport dimensions, with or without a case. If your passport has a thick aftermarket cover it might be a tighter fit, but the standard-issue booklet slides right in.

How many cards can I fit alongside the passport?

Up to 4 cards across the dedicated card slots. There is also space for folded cash and a boarding pass in the separate pockets. If you are carrying more than 4 cards regularly, the family version gives you more room.

Will the RFID blocking interfere when I need to scan my passport at customs?

No. You take the passport out of the wallet to scan it, exactly like you normally would. The RFID layer blocks unauthorized background scanning while it is inside. At customs you hand over the open passport, not the wallet.

Is the material waterproof enough if my water bottle leaks in my bag?

The ripstop nylon is moisture-resistant, not fully waterproof. A splash or light exposure and your documents will be fine. For beach days or water activities, pair it with a dry bag for full submersion protection.
